NFC North Bears vs. Lions Pics :)
I got to go to the Bears game yesterday with my fiance
Weather was perfect for November in Chicago, it was in the low 60's, sunny most of the day and te rain held off till the game ended. I decided to bring with my camera and take some pics. Nothing special, since we weren't exactly in ideal seats... we were in the third level up have way back (about 40 feet form the top edge of the stadium LOL)
Anyways, we drove out there and parking on a Michigan avenue parking garage and walked a little over 1.5 miles to Soldier Field. It's $45 to park at the stadium and it takes like 2-3 hours to get out of the lot after the game so we opted to take a different approach.
We go there about an hour before game time and eat some food once we found our seats.
The stadium from our seats... nose bleed and an expensive nose bleed at that LOL
but with a 300mm zoom lens you could get in a bit closer but the lens isn't the greatest, it was relatively inexpensive but its good enough, I'm not paying $5,000+ for a top quality high zoom lens LOL.
Mascot
pregame warm ups
Lions
Bears
Bears coming on the field to play
Getting the crowd riled up
Sideline
Opening kickoff
During the game
Touchdown brings out the flags
With a couple seconds left int he half Orton (starting QB) goes down injuried

no good
The second half started and with it came Grossman
The game was a close game, Bears up 27-23 with a couple seconds left on the clock, it came down to the Lions last play...
The pass broken up, Bears win
You should have heard the cheers at the stadium when they announced the Packers lost in overtime and the Bears stand alone in 1st place of the division
