I don't lol. Sure it's decent weather and lots of restaurants/clubs/good roads that aren't full of dips and holes like NJ is, but I still prefer home. Can't do more than my 4 years of service, I'd kick myself in the ass if I reenlist...

I'm from Monmouth County. Middle of the state, right on the ocean. I did 2 6 month deploys, one Europe and one South America. Europe kicked so much ass, but South America not so much...I'm leaving right before the next deployment (south american counter-narco-terrorism ops) lol yay

SA is garbage. I was in Panama, Peru, Colombia, some other shithole towns...actually Panama wasn't so bad but it was pretty Americanized anyway, it's Central America lol. Screw Iraq I'm so glad/lucky I haven't done a Gulf tour...

actually the Kuwait base i heard isn't so bad
some mortars and random bullets from time to time but nothing super major from what i heard.

 

yeah F that lol I don't want to be in harm's way. I'm in it for the GI Bill and cool shit like all of Europe.
