I didnt read anything but here is a site where you can download everything you need from ripping DVD with no problems at all, to burning them, shrinking them for quality or size purposes, and even converting them to fit on cell phones, Ipods and other MP4 formats.

SlySoft Products | Copy Movie DVDs with AnyDVD and CloneDVD

All the programs are good for 30 day trials and are fairly cheap after that. I think around $24 a program? Well worth the invesment for you redbox fans.

I just go to redbox get a dvd for a buck and then burn it at home. Also for you DVD freaks I saw this at newegg.com last night and decided to order a bundle since its at a great price. Im not srue if its still o nsale since its appart of a daily deal special going on but it was $19.99 for 100 DVDs.

Newegg.com - TDK 4.7GB 16X DVD-R 100 Packs Cake Box Disc - CD / DVD Media

Sorry to veer off topic but I hope I helped you plus more.
