We finally got the photographs back from our family vacation to Holden Beach, NC during the Fall of 2008.
Almost 20 years ago my family and I began making the yearly trip to a small island on the extreme southern coastline of North Carolina. For a number of years we were able to go as a family each summer. The last time we were all able to go together was back in 1998.
And so now 10 years later, with all of us having moved off, getting married and starting families of our own, we were able to once again visit the beach together as a family.
We rented two adjoining beach houses for the week, and had a wonderful time. The weather was perfection, without any rain the entire time we were there.
One of my sister's best friends also came with us and she happens to be a professional photographer and she took these pictures of us together, to record our family reunion.
