I am going to have a hard time trying to convince my dad, because I want a Fit. I did not waste the past year and a half loving this car just to have it be pushed away by my dad.

I find it impossible to visit The Canyon without taking a camera or two (plus a spare backup).
This trip I mainly shot with my near-infrared setup, comprising an "R72" Infrared-passing filter (black to the human eye) and a 1999 vintage Olympus digicam which is unusually sensitive to the infrared portion of the EM spectrum.
The general properties are a dark sky, bright deciduous vegetation, and reduction of haze.

I attended a "Photography in the Parks" seminar sponsored by Canon (my brand of choice, which also made your dad's F-1). For the two hour hike/seminar, they let me pick a DSLR body and lens to test-drive. I chose a 5D Mark II and 24-105 L Series lens. I have to say, the whole experience was pretty cool.

This is cool seeing the former "Rep God" back repping again. It was awesome when we only had a couple hundred rep.
