Hawaiian like Japanese is really simple. Break down all the syllables.

Ma ha lo means thank you. A ri ga to in Japanese

A lo ha means greetings, welcome and goodbye

Specifically Maui. Maui no ka oi!

Got married in Kihei last year. Haven't been able to go back yet due to finances.

Hopefully next year....
