Got the collector's ed so I'll be downloading costumes tomorrow!

i play lots of games. havent picked this one up yet, but i will next week sometime. im getting it for ps3

 

haha i aws jsut owning someone awhile ago =P lol my brother got it for PS3 =D so yah got all the characters already except that last guy whates his name.... seth... =P but honestly after playing for awhile nothing beats street fighter alpha 3 =D

 

yeah i play a lot of games too.. sometimes i play SF4 but not often..

 

I haven't got the SF4 yet... But i'm really into tekken more than any fighting game and soul caliber.

 

I picked it up for the Xbox. I've just been playing it to unlock everyone and find which character I'm best with. I was playing MKvsDC for a little while, and this game is BY FAR better.

mikejet, what's the DLC that comes with the Collector's Ed.? Is it just the first pack of costumes (Brawler's Pack... I think)?

 

I haven't been a gamer since 2005. I was 21. Started spending hundreds of dollars on my car. Haven't been hardcore since. Kinda miss those days though...

how hard is it to get the joystick in canada? I got the game for 2 weeks already and nowhere has the joystick for it! I'm in canada though...

to unlock akuma it's only ryu with 2 perfect and 2 ultra with no continue right?

and for gouken it's ryu again with 2 perfect and 3 ultra with no continue??

 

combos is so much harder to do in this one.

You begin with 16 characters. Beat arcade mode with certain characters to
unlock the other 9. Here's the tree:

Unlocking Akuma:

Once you unlock Fei, Cammy, Gen, Rose, Sakura and Dan, the next on the list
is Akuma. You must play through arcade mode again with these requirements
(and recommendations):

---Use a character that you've already beaten the game with
---Get at least one perfect
---Don't get more than 2 Ultra Combo Finishes (otherwise you'll fight Gouken)
---Don't use any continues

Akuma will appear once you beat Seth. Beat Akuma and you'll unlock him.

Unlocking Gouken:

First, beat the game once with Akuma. This time do the following:

---Use a character that you've already beaten the game with
---Get at least two perfects
---Get at least three Ultra finishes
---Don't use any continues

Gouken will appear once you beat Seth. Bit Gouken and you'll unlock him.

Unlocking Seth:"

Beat the game with all 24 other characters.

 

man this game is much harder than i thought. i cannot beat it and unlock everyone. ive heard alot of ppl say that with the fightpad its alot easier to pull off combos and such... no stores have fightpads.. so i guess ill have to wait becuase im not paying over 45 bucks for one... i have seen some ppl selling some for over 100 bucks just for a controller. no thanks
