doing a money order in the U.S. in CND funds ???

i need to send a money order to Canada. i want to send canadian funds not U.S. funds. i can't find a place that would do it for me. the U.S. post office only does U.S. funds money orders. my bank only does U.S. funds money orders. i need to pay for something. the problem is that by the time i send it there i don't want it to be the incorrect amount and the currency rate now is really weird i have places telling me it is 1.21-1.29CND=1USD.

So my question is, is there any place where i can get a money order in CANADIAN FUNDS?

Washington mutual will make a money order in canadian funds for you if you have any of those around you.

be aware though that most places will charge you a 5% fee for doing this though.

i tried washington mutual. i have an account there. they said they can't do one. 5% isn't really that bad. the money i'm trying to send the fee would be about $35. western union wants to charge me $63 but they don't do canadian funds either.

thats weird cause i just used washington mutual to get a money order in canadian.

try get them to calculate it out what it would be in american so the canadian would cash it in and their bank would do the conversion
