I moved all of my movie video files to my laptop but most of my Windows Media Player video's wont play when I go to use them it say error downloading codecs and only plays audio. They play fine on my PC so I dont exactly know what to do? All of my video file that are in quicktime play just like the do on my PC. I even went on the microsoft website and downloaded there codec pack and my files still dont play? I really have no Idea what else to try somebody please help.

 

I did google it and some websights poped up but Im to afraid to down load stuff from websights I dont know on this CPU because I wouldnt really have a way to backup my data on this CPU and I cant afford to lose any data from this CPU
