Cash 4 Clunkers Lot

After I took pics of my car today, I pulled into the local Honda dealer backlot to turnaround and noticed a shit load of C4C cars. I had no idea they kept them there. I took some shots for the hell of it. There was also some 09 Fits there too....

I think either someone stole them, or maybe they never made it on the actual car, to Honda. The white one was hella dirty though.

Most of them don't look like what I would consider to be a "clunker". My tax dollars at work!

You should have seen my clunker. 99 Suburban with a couple hundred thousand miles on it, a bearing squeaking in the engine, all the windows on the passenger side were busted out thanks to some vandals, the interior was trashed, the rear bumper was squished enough to keep one of the back doors from opening, the drivers side door hung and wouldn't shut properly, it wouldn't lock, etc.

I kinda wish I took a picture of it before I turned it in. The looks I got from the people at the dealership were classic. But it did get there under its own power.

It was my fathers, don't blame me for the condition it was in

Maybe that Accord wasn't a C4C. It didn't have C4C written on it so I'm not sure. It might have been an old trade in.

@ Doctordoom, That's EXACTLY how it felt. Seemed to me like they're gonna rot there for a while.

It really is sad because some of them don't look like clunkers at all. I bet you the dealer was very lenient on what they consider a "clunker" just to get new car sales.
