Unhappy laser printer is dumb- help

so i have this dumb laser printer, dell 1815dn
i hate dell
but this printer rocks
so the green roller on the toner has yellow marks across and transfers those marks to the paper.
is this water damage to the toner cart, or something else in the printer causing the cart to be damaged..?
any insight will be appreciated
id rather not buy a new toner and still have the prob.
there is a setting to clean the drum, but the toner cart is still funky.
from what i understand the green roller is photosensitive and the yellow parts are where the PS stuff came off, yada ..

so either give me confidence that buying a new toner will fix,
or send me money to buy new toner. and if you send me money and its fixed ill print anyting you want ahaa

is it an aftermarket toner cartridge or from Dell?
i went cheap and bought a set of aftermarket toner cartridges for my CMYK printer and i got nasty streaks, similar to what you've described, in all my print outs. i thought i installed them wrong but found out that they were just a POS - $380 down the drain.

ewww.
ya its a dell cart.
to be honest i found the printer with that cart in it- haha
if it doesnt work ill just throw it out, no $ spent..
but if i can get a new toner and its fixed ill be happy
just didnt know if there was another part to the printer that was causing damage to the toner - orr if its just from moisture from being outside.
