***Official LOST: The Final Season Thread***
One theory that I am going to throw out there is that the alternate timeline we are seeing where the plane landed, is actually going to end up being what happens after the final episode.
The final episode will end with an actual reset of the entire timeline, and the events we will be seeing this entire season in the alternate timeline, are the events that will happen after that ending. So we will all go, OMFG, this whole time we were seeing what happens after the ending of the series.
And of course they will all be involved with each other in some manner. Jack will heal John Locke. Sawyer will end up with Juliette. Kate with Jack. Claire with Charlie. And on and on....

Would've been nice if that was it, but JJ Abrams and the crew took the lazy way out and didn't come up with any explanations for the craziness they themselves created.
