Need help.. Dual 23" or Single 24" monitor for my PC

Hey peeps,

I'm torn.. I am trying to decide between with getting 2x Samsung 23" LCD monitors for my PC or a single 24" Samsung LED backlit monitor.

I know biggest advantage with dual monitors is productivity and multitasking.. I will be using my PC for photo editting, surfing the web, and playing starcraft 2.

I currently have a dual setup at work, but I need it for work.. I can see how it can be handy at home.. but I just don't know if I will use the 2nd monitor that much... maybe i would..

I'm looking at a $30 difference between the 2 setups.. dual 23" LCD or single 24" LED.

Any advice?

i love the 2 monitor set up so ill vote for that. I did hook my comp up to the 40something flatscreen that we have and it was pretty sick.

I forgot to mention that I currently have a Viewsonic LCD 20.1" monitor.. I could use this as the 2nd monitor to the 24" LED, but the pimp factor would be lost with the matching dual monitors..

I guess the main question is, is a 24" LED that much better than a 23" LCD? given that the LED is LED Backlit LCD.

I think the dual monitor setup is better because you have that much more screen real estate. It depends on what you use the computer for though. It is nice to have IM / e-mail and stuff on one monitor and work / play on the other.

What's wrong with having 2 different sizes? You could rotate one to portrait for web and leave one horizontal for gaming.
