Finally back online,, Irene left us without power for three days, started as a Tropical Storm ,left as a Cat 1 Hurricane, but did not move much for 18 hours, poured a lot of rain, knocked down a few trees then left when it felt like it.Those things have a mind of their own,,well, it was not that bad,Hugo was a really bad dude:confused:

sr.sedan 08-27-2011 01:48 AM

Damn Irene likes to blow at 100mph just like katrina

SilverBullet 08-27-2011 11:29 AM

Hope everyone is safe that lives in Irene's path. You guys first had a earth quake and now this. Things are getting crazy.

Krimson_Cardnal 08-27-2011 02:22 PM

Luckily I'm off track, but we're looking at 50mph winds with 3-4 inches of rain, beginning later tonight and through Sunday. NYC is going into shut down.

Bthasht 08-27-2011 03:34 PM

Its crazy down here at the moment. Wind is high. ALOT of rain. Trees down everywhere. She is moving very slow. Almost like she likes it here.

Krimson_Cardnal 08-30-2011 02:13 PM

Hope you're right.
I'll tell you this, upstate NY and Vermont are still having severe flooding issues.

We don't need no stinking Katia.
Hang on jjsifo - put up a big pot of asopao and head for the hills ;-)
