Finally back online,, Irene left us without power for three days,started as a Tropical Storm ,left as a Cat 1 Hurricane,but did not move much for 18 hours, poured a lot of rain,knocked down a few trees then left when it felt like it.Those things have a mind of their own,,well, it was not that bad,Hugo was a really bad dude

Hope everyone is safe that lives in Irene's path. You guys first had a earth quake and now this. Things are getting crazy.

Luckily I'm off track, but we're looking at 50mph winds with 3-4 inches of rain, beginning later tonight and through Sunday. NYC is going into shut down.

Its crazy down here at the moment. Wind is high. ALOT of rain. Trees down everywhere. She is moving very slow. Almost like she likes it here.

Irene will hit DC/Baltimore area tonight to tomorrow morning. Lucky me, I have a lift to stack my FIT in the garage.

That is a lot of rain!!!!,,now let's see what newborn Katia is going to do,keeps on west we might have a cat 3 in a few days,,hope it turns north and then veers to the north east,on to Europe or the Artic as a rain event.

I'll tell you this, upstate NY and Vermont are still having severe flooding issues.

We don't need no stinking Katia.
Hang on jjsifo - put up a big pot of asopao and head for the hills ;-)
