Game comes out tomorrow and a few lucky people will likely have it a little before then. So, I figure we should have a place to discuss everything about the game.

My gf LOVES the COD. I'm not really a FPS fan really . More so RPG. While she plays COD, ill be playing Skyrim ^_^

I got the Hardened edition. I haven't played in a few months, I bet I am RUSTY.

However, used to rock a low 2.x KD. Overall, not too bad it seems. Hopefully I can get back to it.

 

Debating. Ive been a COD fan, but BF3 looks like its gonna be pretty freaking good. To be totally honest, Ive gotten away from fps and xbox though. So if I do get it, it'll be for my little brother.

 

I played a little BF3. The spawn points are WAY messed up. You can literally get spawn killed like 5 times in a row.

 

Hit the first prestige around 3:00 A.M. today.

 

Played 2 rounds at a friends house last night. didnt know the maps that well but I lead my team both times. I really like what I saw. Guess Im gonna have to get it now

 

Good stuff man. Vash and I have played a few games so far. We can get a fitfreak MW3 night going. Start dominating the lobbies.

 

So my take:
BF3 single player- amazing. COD single player- meh at best.
BF3 multiplayer- junk. COD multiplayer- still the best
COD3 seems like an add-on for the last COD. No real changes, just more storyline and different weapons. Still sick, but the single player feels dated, the guns don't sound quite right (and yes, I've shot many of them in real life!), and it doesn't feel NEARLY as good as BF3. And I'm a COD lover! Sigh... Mark W.

 

Luckily for me, I don't care much about campaign. Never played it for Black Ops or for MW3 so far.

However, for the record I agree the story is mediocre at best.

PSN fucked up for me lately so I got both for 360.
Both were pre-ordered so less $25 each game.
BF3's take on campaign is a joke.
I love COD.
BF3's multi player is GOD.

Man, I played like shit all night tonight. This weekend I was running the show with the AS50. Now, I am getting hit markers by the handful.

Sidenote, I am on pace to hit second prestige at the beginning of next week.

 

I should mention, I'm running both on PC. Played BF3 on my buddy's 360- WAAAAAAYYYY better than on PC. On PC, it's browser-based, with MONSTER pre-load time, then huge in-game level load times. Very disappointing. And no, it's nothing to do with my computer Mark W.
