This is somewhat unorthodox for me but here goes..7 A good friend's sister had an article she wrote for class submitted to a competition for young journalists, and is trailing by less than 100 votes. The competition closes midnight tomorrow and a win here would make for a great entry in her portfolio/resume.

She's like another sister to me and this would really mean a lot to her. She also has no idea I have done this, and has basically feeling she's lost. It would make for a huge boost in confidence as well. Thanks in advance to any who participate, there are 2 like buttons.. the one affecting the contest is above the share button adjacent to the title.

I believe so. Whoever has the most likes, wins.
It takes a lot to get me to vote with facebook, but you've contributed a lot to the community, so the least we can do is give a few clicks in return.

Hey thanks a lot guys, we are within 30 votes of a tie!
Like I said this is not normally something I would participate in let alone solicit, but it would mean a lot make a great resume piece and a nice last minute surprise

I'm glad you turned me on to this Chris... The young lady writes like a pro and I feel good about giving her a vote... That is quite a list of sources that she researched...
