Differences in forums

I belong to a forum on a GM car I have. It is obviously controlled by GM. Anything negative is deleted, and the moderators boast of the freebees they get from GM. (Travel, track time etc.) I posted about Honda execs getting a pay cut for recalls and poor quality. I suggested the same thing happen at GM. Seems that is something GM wants kept quiet. Can you imaging the cuts management there would have to take because of bad quality! They would have to give it all back! The tread was deleted almost immediately. In any event, the purpose of this is to show the difference between this forum where, within reason, problems can be stated, and others run by and for the car manufacturer.
