Exclamation Swimming in a Sea of Hillbillies

Just sending up a beacon for any Fit owners in Ohio.
I desperately need to find people who realize a man can own car made in Japan and still love America, Jesus, and women. Plus I need some ideas on where to find good shops around here. The best I can do right now is Autozone.

owning a car not made in america is just unamerican. ha ha ha

i think rednecks and their huge diesel trucks are the funniest when it comes to making fun of the fit. they practically use my car as a step stool when getting out of their truck that is lifted to the sky.

good luck with your search on finding people.

btw aj-racing.com supplies good fit parts.

Try driving in MI where everyone drives an American SUV. Also, throw in the fact that u work for one of the big three, and you would know how I feel.

I'm holding down Columbus for you Kitten. I get stares all the time here. Lots of nice EVO's and STI's up here..no custom fits I've seen so far.
I live on the east side (Blacklick)
I too am looking for local shops in Cbus. Online is the best I've found so far for aftermarket goodies/ put them on myself....ha. My buddy works in Dayton and has a GTI and Audi TT so he can def. let you know about any custom shops you want to find. He knows dayton pretty well.

My 09 SSM fit...

Also if anybody in the central Ohio area needs a detailing master my buddy Todd is the man. Check out his website if you don't believe.

He was recently voted top 9 detailer in the U.S by Autoweek magazine.

Yea I dropped it on Tanabe Df210's last weekend.

Here is the pics/discussion of the process.
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...0-nf210-2.html

My pics start on page 2.

I just saw two more fits this morning/lunch. Silver and a white one.
They are getting more and more popular.

We should all get together sometime. I would be interested to take a ride on those DF210's to see if I like them enough to get some for myself.

May be up there on Saturday, but will definitely come up next weekend. I am trying to figure out a shop up there to do some work on the car for me. Got any suggestions? I am just doing research right now. Want to try to get some things done in June or July. Also if that friend of yours who does detailing might have any insight, let me know.

Suspension work, brake upgrade, leather interior. I got a list a mile long of parts. I am still waiting on emails back from katzkin about local installers, and from A&J about parts fitment. Im also trying to find a shop that can order from tein in Japan. I found a set of coilovers for the GE8 that i would love to get imported, depending on the price.

Ah I see. I do all of my own work so I wouldn't know what to tell you about shop references. I have heard of some around Columbus but I can't remember them off hand.
Saturday I will probably just detailing the cars of course all contingent on the weather.
