What is our plan for zero-occupancy vehicles?

In the transportation world, there has always been consensus that there is nothing worse than the single-occupancy vehicle. But there soon could be.

Zero-occupancy is going to be such a pain! Just think of all the hotshots that need to stop in for 5-10 min or every delivery driver trying to make a killing. They're just going to have the car loop around the block till he/she is ready. And that's just the tip of the big iceberg.

Never considered this aspect of self driving cars. It make sense too. When I was in college it would have been cheaper for my car to drive back home and pick me up later than pay there parking fees.
