honda fit vs. smart car and the obvio

i wonder how the fit puts up against the smart car and the obvio(both cars are coming late next year to dealers)

I didn't know obvio was coming to US. i never even heard of it.

Aygo (toyota 2 seater) is coming to US too. Hopefully smart, aygo, will mean CRXs return

Comsumer Reports just reviewed the Smart car. (December 2006). They said "The Smart has two strong points: its cute looks and ease of parking. Otherwise, it's slow, it's noisy, it handles reluctantly, and it has the worst transmission shift quality we've ever experienced."
They had purchased a Canadian version as it isn't certified to run on US roads. Price: $21,874 U.S

well for those prices I aint buying a none brand name car look at the prices crazy
The model 012 will be available at a target price of US$28,000, planned for last semester of 2008.

The electric versions - 828E will be available in the second semester of 2008 at a targeted price of US$49.000 and the 012E will be available in the second semester of 2008 at a targeted price of US$59.000 .

I don't get why people buy the Smart cars, but I see one almost every day. My friend had one for a while, in his words "it's like you're driving a lawnmower."

I parked beside one last week and it made the Fit looks Navigator.

The obvio will be doing 0-60 in 4.5, it'll be smoking pretty much anything anybody drives on here.....
