QUESTION ABOUT 2005 HONDA ACCORD 4 DR
Hi,
I'm considering a 2005 Honda
Accord LX, 4 door and manual, and
i've seen purchase prices in the $17,000-17,800
range, which would be about $19k out
the door, right?
I'm wondering if this would be a reasonable
amount to pay, especially if i finance
some of it.
Also, any comments by anyone
who has one of these is greatly
appreciated! Thanks!

It would probably be necessary to know where you are, since you seem to
be quoting American Dollars, right?

I'd stay clear of Honda. Because of high demand there are a lot of
quality issues ranging from transmission issues that Honda will not
repair to plain poor workmanship. Do a search for 'Accord problem' in
google groups and you'll see.

Well, looking at this:
http://groups-beta.google.com/groups...rd+problems%22
it would seem that most of the problems are pretty minor.
I've had a used Ford Escort, Cadillac Sedan de Ville, and Honda
Civic, and the Civic was hands down the smoothest running.

But aren't the transmission problems with the automatic transmissions,
not with the manual transmission that the original poster wants?
