Next Impala SS - RWD LS3 Powered
Actually it's an Australian car...it's the Holden VXR8. But dulled down a lot. Looks like they made it look less aggressive and changed some of the styling in the rear, but you can see the headlights and body shape are the same.

GM owns Holden it's there Australian Brand like Opel and Vauxhill are some of GM's companies in Europe. So basically The New Impala would just be another product of badge engineering. Your still buying a GM just an Australian GM re-badged and styled, Same thing with Pontiac and the GTO.
Yeah Holden is a GM run company. But like the GTO, it is being built in Australia I believe. GM is really relying on their European and Asian designers and markets to help their brands in NA. You can really see the difference in the Saturn line up. Hopefully Ford will figure that out soon as they have some great cars in Europe that we don't see over here. I'd take the new Mondeo over any sedan in the Ford family in NA. The C-Max and Galaxy are also good ideas, but unfortunately they haven't jumped on it yet.
i was about to say it looked like a skyline in the front, i guess first with the round lights in the back now with the front end:D
You'd be surprised, I hate to say it but a lot of the newer GM vehicles have nice interiors. Back in the day when they recycled parts for EVERY car they looked like crap, but they are starting to get the hang of it and realizing mass producing the same interior doesn't really help...
to me, the headlights look like a mix of an older IS300 and a skyline - the taillights seem pretty much carried over from the previous model impala - just smaller - and they look a damn lot like the accords. pretty nice looking car though.
Last I checked this version has been axed. It was going to be on the same platform as the new Pontaic G8 that's coming out soon. Which is off the Holden line too.
Hopefully they still decide to keep RWD with whatever they use though.
