I have a '99 GSR and it's more expensive to insure than my 03 Mini Cooper, despite it having a value of less than half. The GSR is one of the most ticketed cars, it's one of the most highly modified cars, it's one of the most crashed cars, and it's one of the most stolen cars. Insurance companies hate them because they pay on them too often.

BTW, I've owned it since new and it's a blast to drive. Not a lot of torque but it sings if you keep it above 4500 RPM. :p Plus it constantly returns 30+ MPG.

I had a 91 Integra GS. I was the original owner and just sold it this past May. The car was with me for 17 years, 201K miles, and has visited most of the states on the West Coast. My mpg avg was anwhere from 25-29 mpg. As discussed on multiple threads here mpg can vary based on your driving habits and your commute (city, hwy, etc). I still think about that car now and then, my Fit has big shoes to fill. We shall see after a decade if the VBP is up for the challenge. :)

With all of those downsides, is the car worth it (for you)?

Well, I'm still shopping around just in case the guy sells that GSR. How does this Integra sound?
