Not quite -- as usual, the JDM 2nd gen xB is better than what we get. Check out the Corolla Rumion, and in particular the customized versions.

if toyota/scion NA offered the xB in the 1.8s (1zz IIRC) w/the Modelista body option, i would've possibly considered it over the fit.

In my opinion the new XD and al the Scion models. They should be good quality cars, with far few problems than the Fit (poor paint, no dead peddle, center arm rest, poor acceleration, bumpy ride, etc.)

 

This is debatable to a certain extent. No doubt they are good cars, but I wouldn't say they are any better than the Fit. No dead pedal or center arm rest are not problems, just preferences. Some people, like myself, could care less if the Fit had either one or both. Poor acceleration and ride are also subjective, as a lot of people like a firmer ride and also realize that the Fit is no rocket ship. And as for paint, Scion isn't known for having any better paint then anything else; worse in fact. My 1st gen xB had some of the thinnest paint I've ever seen and chipped way easier than my Fit. tC's also had some serious paint issues as well, so if anything this makes them about equal. Still, I'd buy a new xB (as a 2nd car) if I knew I could use some of the aero parts off of the JDM Rumion.

 

man those xbs looks like big SUVs....far from b cars....
