got 5 evoX's in today

just in case anyone was interested. a truck pulled up with 5 evoXs. one red, two blues, and two silvers (i think). i thought we were only getting three. next month we're getting a buttload. took as many shots as i could with my blackberry. the seats are pretty dope (couldnt take any pics inside cause i couldnt take the plastic out). the rear seats are soft as hell. anyway here are the pictures.

Ehhhh.... Well, the wheels are nice. Thats it.

kennef Jan 18, 2008 10:55 PM

very nice. how many are already spoken for and what kind of mark up?

Arisenfury Jan 18, 2008 10:57 PM

I'd take the new STi over that anyday, however if I didn't have the choice I would have no qualms with driving the new EVO.

You mean that Mazda3/Sebring? Ughh. All new cars are going to hell. Changing the motors, complete redesigns.

arsonall Jan 18, 2008 11:04 PM

was that a sub in the trunk??

man, do you know how many people thought i was crazy for pointing out how similar those two cars look? thank god there is someone else out there as stupid as me.

i agree, all new cars are going to hell. generation after generation, they get fatter and less focused.

:o The whole front end screams Sebring. Then the rear end looks like a Mazda3.
Side profile to me looks like a Daewoo Lanos.

Im not down with the whole PRND thing though.

jeimusu86 Jan 19, 2008 03:13 AM

i personally like the front end a lot, very aggressive and sleek. i'm sure the new evo performs very nice...its not going to be crap...i would not have a problem at all driving this car

s0x Jan 19, 2008 04:08 AM

mmmmmm

i wanna lick it lol :) is that a factory sub in the trunk??? oh man this or sti i think the sti still owns the evo but its hot. sooooo sooooo hot lol.

jdjohnson9 Jan 19, 2008 04:38 AM

Hot car but with all that plastic im scared its gonna melt. There are goods and bads to both the evo and the sti. Either way i would take a used elise over those two anyday. Thats just me though.

Combo Jan 19, 2008 05:04 AM

haha i see myself messing with one of those evox 3 years later

NJ Drive Jan 19, 2008 09:46 AM

I've had a 2004 and 2006 STI and a 2006 EVO 9 RS. I think it's a safe bet I won't be getting into either new model. Both marques are trying to now appeal to a larger market, and in effect, have now become more plush and comfortable. That's not to say they won't be equally potent as years past, but they for sure will lack the rawness of previous generations.

Fitftw Jan 19, 2008 11:58 AM

well the gauge display this time is a lot better than the previous generations. And that factory sub in the back is pretty appealing. However i'm not sure if the car will feel the same as all the other generations. Sure it may be faster but will it have that aggresive feel that we all enjoyed.

Raaaaaaaaaay. Jan 19, 2008 12:03 PM

Still cant believe they ditched the 4g63. Dumb faces.

Fitftw Jan 19, 2008 12:07 PM

you gotta admit though the 4g63 is pretty old . who knows how the new 4b11 will respond with mods and all that.

Raaaaaaaaaay. Jan 19, 2008 12:16 PM

Its old but its one of the most responsive engines in the world.
The new motor will be junk.

kenoshainflames Jan 19, 2008 12:47 PM

after owning a 95 talon awd id have to say that the 4g63 is the best engine ever. lol i had sooooo many diffrent problems at once and it still ran like a champ until it jumped timing. :p
