got 5 evoX's in today

just in case anyone was interested. a truck pulled up with 5 evoXs. one red, two blues, and two silvers (i think). i thought we were only getting three. next month we're getting a buttload. took as many shots as i could with my blackberry. the seats are pretty dope (couldnt take any pics inside cause i couldnt take the plastic out). the rear seats are soft as hell. anyway here are the pictures.

yea thats me. shut up.

looks like the Mugen lip for the EK.

the battery is in the back (behind the right panel)

$1113 a pop for each headlight.

:::edit:::
btw. this is the GSR model. msrp $35000 (i believe. i didnt really look at the price cause i know i cant afford it anyway. AM I RIGHT?!? -holds hand up for high five-)

I'd take the new STi over that anyday, however if I didn't have the choice I would have no qualms with driving the new EVO.

You mean that Mazda3/Sebring? Ughh. All new cars are going to hell. Changing the motors, complete redesigns. :rolleyes:

man, do you know how many people thought i was crazy for pointing out how similar those two cars look? thank god there is someone else out there as stupid as me.

i agree, all new cars are going to hell. generation after generation, they get fatter and less focused.

:o The whole front end screams Sebring. Then the rear end looks like a Mazda3.
Side profile to me looks like a Daewoo Lanos.

I've had a 2004 and 2006 STI and a 2006 EVO 9 RS. I think it's a safe bet I won't be getting into either new model. Both marques are trying to now appeal to a larger market, and in effect, have now become more plush and comfortable. That's not to say they won't be equally potent as years past, but they for sure will lack the rawness of previous generations.

well the gauge display this time is a lot better than the previous generations. And that factory sub in the back is pretty appealing. However i'm not sure if the car will feel the same as all the other generations. Sure it may be faster but will it have that aggresive feel that we all enjoyed.

you gotta admit though the 4g63 is pretty old . who knows how the new 4b11 will respond with mods and all that.

The new motor will be junk.

after owning a 95 talon awd id have to say that the 4g63 is the best engine ever. lol i had sooooo many diffrent problems at once and it still ran like a champ until it jumped timing. :p
