Nice alternative to the Fit...
Uhhhh...you do realize it's an OPEL right? It's the other way around. It's not a Saturn..it's an Opel. And I wouldn't deny the purchase of a car simply due to a badge change.
Let's face it:
The car below is a kickass car whether it has a rebadged Saturn logo on it or not:

actually, the Saturn is an Opel in disguise, and one of the nicest economy cars to come out of Europe
I think it's still a little bigger than the Fit, so it's probably not quite as nimble or efficient, good choice for someone that may want a bigger car

If i lived in europe I'd defenitly consider this!
I had high hopes for this car and I dragged my buddy to test drive this car before he put his money down on a Lancer. Wow, was I disappointed with the engine choice they made. With 3 of us in there in an Auto, the pick up was so slow, it was worse than my smart car! I'm sure this car is capable of more if they offered the same engines as they do over in Europe, but the 1.8L 130+hp engine felt so weak. I ended up convincing him to get an Impreza haha...
Oh, BTW geniuses (jokingly :p), the car posted above is an Opel Corsa, not the Astra which is the variant available here in NA:

--like the aura itll prolly be good for the first year, then gm will make a clone as a chevy and take all the thunder away from saturn

the solstice and sky are both built in wilmington, delaware at the GM Boxwood plant. the opel version will be built there also. the Opel will be a euro sold car only, no u.s. version is planned. so, technically they arent rebadged satturns and im not sure where they are making this one but the saturn brand has always urked me for some reason.
Yet another really nice alternative to the Fit we don't get....WTF is wrong with this county and its people??

Yeah it is a small car. But that's the point...it's a nice sporty, little car that will serve the purpose of transportation for 95% of the population while still being true to its design purpose...being small and sporty and fun.
It's more akin to the current Fit than the new bulbous one. I honestly don't see why Honda had to make the current one any bigger...or for that matter why not make it look like this? It would be killer.
And those rims...man they are really killer!

Or even better...I'd hit this car up faster than you can say "One Grande Mocha Latte Extra Esspresso Machiato Iced Frappacino."

Honestly, this is probably one of my favorite current cars out there.

The 197 would have been great if they sold Renaults here!
