I Love My Honda....anyone know the answer??
Ok so I bought an "I love my Honda" static cling decal for my Fit, but I was wondering if its authentic or not....its got the honda symbol on the lower corner and the guy I bought it from said that Honda had these on the cars as a promotional thing. All the others I've seen are just decals and not a static cling. Anyone know what the story is behind these decals and how to tell a fake one? Im new to all things Honda so bare with me......

Sweet.....it just doesn't look as good from the outside like some of the fake sticker ones do....but as long as its authentic im cool with it then.....does anyone know when these came out???

Honda dealerships were giving these out to people who came in for service and/or sales about 3-4 years ago. Some dealerships have dead stock and usually techs who work there grab them to re-sell. But yea, the authentic ones have the Honda H in the corner and adhere via static cling from the inside. Difficult to find now.

There used to be an ebay seller who was selling a ton of them a few years back, I had mine in my cb7 and when I transfered it over it was difficult to get out more of the smaller bubbles, but I prefer it to a decal as it wont become scratched up from scraping windows when its cold.

the decal is actually a touch older than 3-4 years. it was given out to 96-00 civic owners when they were serviced to commemorate winning motor trend's car of the year for the 96 ek civic. yours is authentic, im lucky enough to have a few myself. i found them while cleaning up an old store room at my dealership. also dig these...... ultra rare i love my honda breath mints! i bet these are mighty stale by now :) <~~~steve
