i am changing rear brakes on honda accord 1994 the calipers seem to be
stuck how do you free them

Stuck, as in pinching the pads to the rotor?

If so, use a C clamp spanning from the outer pad (don't put it on the
caliper, but on the pad itself) and on the inside of the brake cliper.
Tighten it slightly and that will be enough to make space so you can
slide the caliper out of the way.

Rear disc calipers often screw in/out to accomodate the e-brake. Using a
C-clamp could damage something!

I wasn't talking about turning it in all the way with a C-clamp.

I think she had a problem getting the brakes off so my assumption was that
the caliper was holding the pad to the rotors very tightly. Putting a
C-clamp on the outer pad and the rear of the caliper assembly would push the
piston in enough to free it so you can take the pads out, t take the rotors
off, properly turn the pison back in, etc.

The e-brake on my old '82 Subaru operated the front discs - the pistons
were a screw-in type. There were two notches in the outer edges at the
end of the piston - I would expect there's a special tool to fit them,
probably with a standard ratchet drive, but I just used a set of
Chan-nel-lock pliers to twist the pistons back in.
