I love the Freed, and loved it when I saw it over at AutoBlog a month or so ago.
It at least needs the Civic's engine to sell in the U.S. And the Zest would at least need the 1.5. But with enough power/the right gearing, I think either might do well, as long as gas prices keep climbing.
Hey, I talked to someone last week who is serisously considering getting rid of her Hemi Durango for an '09 Fit, and she's not a car person, so the change in attitudes is coming.
And around this part of the country, I see a ton of Mazda5's, and they need more power, but people are buying.
