Heater stuck on, A/C won't work
So, My heater is stuck on and will not shut off. You can turn the fan off
but even if you turn the dial to cold it still blows hot. A/c worked last
year, now when I push the button the light doesn't come on and absolutly
nothing happens. It's summer and this is killin me. My husband
disconnected the heater and that helps, but I miss my A/C. Anyone have any
ideas?

Blown fuse? Bulb in the switch burnt out and it really comes on but you
have another problem? When you turn the dial to cold, does it feel or
sound like you're actually moving something? (Check actuating cable to
the air diverter door is still attached to the mechanism under the
dash.) Do symptoms change when you push the recirculate button? (Does
it have one?)

Here's guess. The AC light refuses to come on because the AC
pressure/charge is too low.

Sorry, all our psychic Air Conditioning technicians are away at a
convention.
If you need help before they get back, you have to tell us what kind of
vehicle it is . . . . We can't 'visualise' it, and we're terrible
guessers.:-(
