Moonroof visor for new Accord? (any downsides?)

I am about to get a new Accord. I am considering having a moonroof
visor installed at the dealer to cut down noise with the moonroof open
on the freeway. I have heard that these plastic visors scratch easy,
can scratch the paint underneath, allow water/filth to acumulate
underneath and can make it difficult wash your car.
Have any of you had negative experiences after installing a Honda
moonroof visor? Thanks

I question the need for one. I don't notice any noise with the
moonroof open. Maybe a slight amount.

Moonroof visor is mostly is a style thing. It doesn't do much. In the
first place you got a car with moonroof so that the car would appear,
spacious. Installing the visor defeats this purpose. If you really want
this, it is available at the PepBoys for 19.99, which you could install
it yourself. I would rather invest the money in Window Ventshades,
which would let you open the windows 1.5inches, and keeps the car cool.
