Couple of Interesting Cars Today
Had a couple of interesting cars in the shop today.
First is a fairly clean 2007 C6 Corvette that we added a silver stripe package to. Nothing too overt, I think it turned out nice. A little accent to the aggresive side of the Coupe without overpowering the car.

Second vehicle was a little on the odd side to me. First one I've seen around here. 2009 Infiniti FX50S AWD. It's got a 5.0L DOHC V8 with almost 400hp and 370trq. 7-speed auto tranny, AWD, AWS, adaptive braking, adaptive lane control, adaptive cruise control, adaptive HIDs, cameras for a panoramic 360degree view around the entrie vehicle when in reverse, NAV with all the bells and whistles (Bose with Burr Brown DAC, dual subwoofers, Bluetooth, HDD jukebox, flash drive, IPOD control, voice activation for audio/NAV/HVAC, 8" touchscreen, auto hand job, etc....), 21" wheels with 265/45/ZR21 Summer High Performance tires, leather everything, heated/AC front seats, magnesium flappy paddle thingies (nice and cool to the touch).
Almost $65,000 loaded. The interior was absolutely sinful! The front end was rather bulbous. I just don't know if it works for me as a cohesive package. I could be buried in that interior, though.
The FX35/45 has a much smaller front end that works a lot better for the overall shape and size. Stuffing that big V8 required the nose to be blown up a little too much. Hurts the balance of the thing.
BTW, we installed the clear-bra system on it (Avery Topcoat, the best of the best).

I am really jealous that you work in a place and get to be hands on with these great looking cars! That would be a great job to have. Both of those cars were super nice.
