NMCA Street Shootout and LSx Shootout
Procharged LS1 RX7. This thing was SUPER CLEAN.
I was in the pit crew of the next few cars. A pristine late model Camaro LS1 auto with 3.73s, lid and M/T DRs. He came in 2nd in the 13.0 class by 1 thousandth of a second! He was running 13.0s-13.1s all day in the heat.
This is another car I was pitting with. It is the lowest mile, cleanest GN I have ever seen. 1986 with 30,000 all original miles. He had the boost turned up, AFPR, fuel pump and DRs. He's the guy who won the 13.0 index class by only 1 thousandth of a second.
And then yet another car I was in the crew of was this work in progress '69 Road Runner running a 541ci BB Mopar N/A.
And here is the last car I was pitting for. Again, it's a really clean Monte Carlo SS with full original interior including original radio. On Friday during TnT, he sheared every ring gear bolt on his 4.30s. All he had to replace it with is a set of 4.88s. His name is Terry Herbert. Last year he won the 10.0 class on NOS, and this year he won the 11.0 class all motor.
And here is Terry Herbert winning the True Street index class for the second year in a row. Last year, as I said, the 10.0 class on NOS and this year the 11.0 index on motor.
From MemphisRacingScene.com, ejmfw and his Turbo Mustang. Runs 8.90s at 150mph on DRs and it's a real honest to goodness street car that he drives all the time.
Jeff and the other turbo Mustang this time with an LS1 swap.
Josh's turbo Firebird. 8.80s at 152mph street car.
This is my brother-in-law. He's the one who has the all original, survivor, 30,000 original mile 1970 Challenger R/T 440 car that I have posted pics of before. Triple black and dead sexy. He drover his 360ci powered 1969 Dodge Dart GT all the way to Memphis from Mt Home for the weekend.
The next few pics got screwed. I didn't realize, but I had WB on flourescent and forgot to change it to sunlight, so there is a blue tint in the pics. What can I do to fix them? Something in PS CS3 that I can change the WB back to auto or sunlight? I took them on fine and not RAW, so I think I'm just screwed.
Here is the interior of that LS1 RX7 Turbo II
Thanks.
