For those of you who don't know me or remember me, I purchased a Honda Fit last year and wound up having to sell the car after about 3 weeks of owning it (long story!), but my current daily driver/showcar is my 2000 BMW 323i which I help to raise heart awareness at car shows thru my car. Anyhow, Eurotuner Magazine heard about my "unique story" and decided they wanted to do a full feature on my car and I. The magazine is currently on sale at stores nationwide so please do pick one up if you find it... hopefully it inspires you to maintain good heart health. :)

I definitely have to rank this as one of the happiest and proudest moments of my life. Reading my full feature brought me to tears (my 8 years of blood, sweat, and tears paid off).

Thank you so much!! Health-wise I'm doing GREAT now... I'm just very thankful to still be alive and have such a wonderful wife, daughter and extended families now to all support me.

By the way, I forgot to mention that even though I don't own my Fit anymore, I still enjoy all the people I've met on this site... everyone here is truly down-to-earth, which is nice considering that I do encounter my fair share of snobs on some of the BMW/Euro websites but a ton of cool people there too.

The new '09 Fit looks really good... I know one thing I hated about my '08 Fit was the driving discomfort of having to adjust my seat appropriately to be at the right distance from the steering wheel (could never get it to a comfortable spot - I'm 5'10 with fairly long legs)... hopefully they fixed that issue with the new Fit. :-)

Hey Navin, I met you awhile back at Rockville Starbucks meeting area with my Milano Red Fit. Its nice to see your still here on the forums man. Good to see your doing well with everything. The car looked really good at Hot Import Night also.

Yes it's definitely still on the newstands (November 2008 issue). Price of the magazine is $5.99 here in the U.S. If you're unable to find it there in Egypt you could always log on to their website (eurotuner.com) and just order the magazine from them. Good luck! :-)

I'm in G'burg myself... usually during the first weekend of May I bring my car up to Univ of MD at College Park for their huge spring meet where they get hundreds of cars showing up of all different brands so if you go to that then you'll see me there. Also I'm on a showcar team called "Eurowerkz" so we compete at various car shows including the June and August Ocean City Car Shows in Ocean City, MD and also Hot Import Nights DC which is usually every April... I'll be at all those shows next year too. Just be sure to remind me who you are if you do see me there. :-)
