the note was to inform his friend of the potential hazard - should he try to clean up the mess himself. i don't think the person that wrote it was trying to be funny. i could be wrong...

i think its fake... if the the authorities were aware that the victim had AIDS, woudn't they quarentine the area for saftey? i dont know but thats how i think it would happen...

 

if i can remember correctly from my college BIO class, the AIDS virus needs a living host and can't be contracted through breathing the air around an infected person. it can only be contracted through the exchange of bodily fluids.

 

That's what I thought too. The virus dies within a short amount of time, thus you can't touch that white civic and get AIDS.

 

confirmed! hahah i had to call my aunt (she's a nurse) and ask because i got so curious. she thought i was infected ROFL!!!

i can't imagine why the civic wasn't towed away when the body was removed.

lol yea they did, i just know AIDs is un-curable "for now" and its sexually transmited mostly. but still, safety? you never know. keep in mind, the reason why there isnt a cure is because theres so many strains of AIDs, by some chance, there might be a new strain, one thats survives longer, who knows. whats wrong with being safe [shrugs] i know i woudnt even come close if i heard the guy had AIDs.

 

It's not the aids tainted blood that would freak me out so much as the fact that someone killed themselves on my car!

Who wrote the note? was it a cop at the incident who ran the plates and wrote down the registered owners name?

Was it a deer strike? driven to the city then a story made up? I've seen aftermaths of deer strikes that looked similar.

To be honest unless blood got on the inside of the car I wouldn't worry about it. Even if it did get on the inside I am sure there is somewhere he could go to get his car sterilized.

You don't just get aids from touching blood of a person that has the aids virus you would have to ingest it so unless you are going to wipe the blood off with bare hands then clean your hands by licking them off you should be fine.
