Got my new camera two weeks ago but weather has been like crap here and I could not wash my Fit + nothing new on my car............
SO, I went out with my friend in his new 09 WRX 265 and we were waiting in the underground parking for someone.

I was bored and snapped a few pictures. Lighting was gaay and whitebalance was off. I tried to correct it in photoshop....and this is the best I could do :o






















What do you guys think?

 

I'm loving the photos and the car. Although I dislike the jdm angles and your watermark, I am actually really feeling the "off" white balance, it sets a certain mood. Well done.

But yeah white balance was really really orange-red orginally....

Also, look up for the 2009 WRX they are called 265 because they upped the hp to 265. :popc:

Are you using the stock D40 AF-S Dx lens as well?

If you shoot in raw, it'll be very easy to adjust the white balance in Photoshop or ACR without any loss of picture quality. I kind of like the look the pics have, nice work!

 

You should park at Chapters P1, thats where all the nice cars are ;)

Well, I guess he couldn't get license plate with 265 in it so he opted for 256 instead? lol

Yeah I'm shooting with the stock lens but I just got myself a nikkor 55-200mm VR lens 2 weeks ago..... now the switching of lenses bothers me but 18-200mm lens is too damn expensive :(

I knew I was posting in the wrong sections ;p but I didn't know where to post it before........now i do.......

Well, my Fit was parked at Chapter's P1.......haha not really.....

 

The pics look great, the car is ugly though.

RAW is your friend when it comes to white balance issues. Don't get sucked into the JPEG crowd. Other than that not so bad, maybe some tighter crops though.
