I'm an automotive technician and trust me, VW = CRAP!! We have a rule at work:
"NO VW's on Fridays!"
We all want to go home!
If VW was the last car company in the world, i'd walk!
Bentley would be my pick, not only is it the name, it looks more comfortable than a Mercedes AMG any day. Also take into account the creature comforts, Bentley offers a dedicated console for the back. That's a good enough reason to get the Bentley over the AMG.
