Yeah the NSX is definitely a supercar now. No doubt about that.

this is going to sound bad but seriously, i think the nsx-r looked better than this concept. and just when you thought you'd seen the last photograph of a 'mugen' badge, there's 10 more to prove you wrong. geez

the wing looks too extreme. Is it really that necessary?

You wanna know something that's funny, this is a ding dang Honda forum and no one even noticed that the engine is pointing the wrong direction.

But guess what folks....... THERE IS NO ENGINE IN IT!!!

What you see is just an empty mock-up of a drive-train! So, no, they did not swing the V6 around or drop in an AWD V10 monster engine/F1 tranny combo as has been speculated around on the web. It's a plastic dummy motor just taking up space so that they could have something to bolt that King Kong snorkel to.

After much searching I found out that back at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon Mugen displayed the car with only a static mock-up of an engine and drive-train. They planned on later putting some kinda monster into it.

Well, even though it's months later, and they just dropped on us these lavish photos, Mugen has still not bothered to actually put a drive-train in it.

And why should they dump a bunch of money into R&Ding a one-of-a-kind 10,000 RPM screamer, since, hey, the NSX is completely dead anyway. And all of us Honda rice-boy magazine bench racers are slobbering all over ourselves with plain ole hi-rez photos anyway! So why bother with actually making it run and drive?!? It's not like any of us are actually going to physically see it or hear it run, let alone sit in it or drive it.

yea, lol i was wondering why it was twisted like that sid :/ perty *** IMO. If you're gonna "build" a car, make it move without having to push it.
interior...to much suede or whatever material n WAY to much red. n apparently tall wings are baller status now...other than that, the body is quite perty.

well you do need the wing for the down force when taking a turn or on the straight. NSX's are beasts, oddly enough i've never see someone actually tune and race one...

I don't know what you have against me, but you never pass up a chance to put me on blast, do you? The thing with the photo contest, now this. Whatever I did, dude, I'm sorry. Can't we all just get along?

LOL I just saw the pics right now. I was just about to ask wtf is up with the engine facing the wrong way? Then I scrolled down to see your post.

Meh. I don't like it. I don't hate it, just not my thing.

If I had that much money to mod a nice car such as an NSX that intensively, I'd honestly buy a Ferrari or a Lambo rather than F-up the NSX. That's like taking a peice of art and spraying graffitti on it. I'm not a big fan of going huge on mods. A few here and there, ok. Once you cross the line and get wide body kits, game over for style. You are just going for it now because you can and have the psychological need for attention, regardless of it looking tastefull or not.

But again, it's all about ones taste. This kind of stuff of hyper mods and one off's is not mine.

2 cents.
