Kinda dumb, really dumb, or kinda cool?

I am going to get a hold of a 03 CRV fairly soon and I want to lower it a little by getting lower profile tires and maybe some springs with a total max drop of 2 in. I don't plan on doing any offroading. I haven't done any research into this yet, just wanted to know some opinions before I put any real consideration into it.

this is the reason why i think it would look really cool. i know that this is not the same year but here is an older CR-V that i saw while i was in japan. i thought it looked really cool because i've never seen it done before. minus the chrome, i really like this vehicle. enjoy my crappy cell phone picture :)

Dropped CR-Vs aren't bad overall. I've seen a few and they all looked great. Go do it :D

I was looking at all the oem stuff at college hills, and they are all pretty cool, with huge side moldings and 'offroad grill' and most are on clearance. the crv is the completely stock base model right now. what you guys think of the kelton sub? it seems to be plug and play and very easy to concel/keep out of the way, which is just what I am looking for. I am not digging any of the gold trim tho... esp since the car is brown.

next question: what size tires? currently they are 205-70-15. I am not planing to get new rims...

what springs? I googled low pros and came up with these one and two
would the truck one work better, since it's a suv?

maybe 215-50 with 1.75" drop?

Do 3" bro. That's gonna look badass man. Yeah, but get a sway bar, It'll help it so much. Lemme know, I know someone TT-ing a Lexus SC400 and he's got a Honda he's gonna mess with next. he found this sight, it's all about Honda's, and stuff to put in them to make them handle/perform incredibly sick. Good luck with the CRV, though.
