On my way home this evening i had just filled up about 50 miles earlier but i couldn't help but pull into another gas station. Because gas here was $1.999

Now i haven't seen gas at this price in easily over a year. I'm in Lafayette, LA which tends to be a few cents cheaper than houston when i pass through and about 10 cents cheaper than dallas. But I couldn't believe that price. I even kept the reciept. LOL

 

I heard today that there is a price war going on..... The prices dropped here a couple of days ago after going up for the Labor Day weekend.

 

I paid 3.499 in Santa Barbara last week.

 

i havent filled up for under 3 dollars in ages >.<

 

Premium is $2.529 and as usual cheaper in the larger town 45 miles away..... Most of the places to buy gas in the closest town to me are owned by the same company that will only lower prices to put a smaller competitor out of business..... They actually stopped selling the local newspaper for exposing this practice.

 

who sells gas for under $3?

 

in socal probably arco. but i never touch that gas

 

This is the gas price in my town.

 

i think gas out in cali is just more expensive

 

As are prices on everything else..... Pay checks are pretty descent though I here but don't go very far.
