Hey It's been awhile, since Ive made a thread on here. I lurk around from time to time.

Some of you may remember my 08 SSM Fit I had for a year and a half. I traded that in this summer for a 08 Mugen Civic Si. Just figured Id post up some pics....

Nice. There is a still a Mugen Civic sitting on the showroom floor of a dealership by my house. I drool everytime I see it

 

I love those Mugen Civics! Too bad they don't have those here in Canada..

 

I don't think 08 Mugen Civic Si come with Navigation system. It had to be upgraded. 08 Mugen Civic Si is a little bit pricey and it comes with only one color, Fuji blue.

 

Thanks for the history lesson lol. No it didnt come with navi, and I got the car for less then blue book for a normal Si

 

How much did you get it for? I remember seeing one when I was buying my FIT. $34K before taxes. I hope you paid less than that.

 

I think you can still get a new 08 Mugen Civic Si for around $24-25K.

 

Mugen Civic is one sick looking car - makes a regular Civic just look blah! Super nice car and you know that anything with Mugen on it just makes me so happy!

$30,000 is what the dealership by my house wants. Probably why it is still sitting there lol

 

I got mine for $18,000, with 10k miles on it w/ a 100k warranty. also got 13k on my fit for trade in

197 BHP. 08 Mugen Civic Si has only wheels/tire, suspension and body kits upgrade, no engine upgrade. That is why not too many people buy it? The same HP as standard Si.

 

The only thing I don't understand, why they left the sunroof in it. Too much overhead mass as this is supposed to be more race oriented than the normal Si (isn't it?!?!). I mean look at the CTR here or any R model released, never had a sunroof as they raise the CoG by a good margin.

Still a nice car and for quite a decent price, any plans to do a front end swap to the more agressive look of the FD2R?

 

The ONLY way I would buy one is preowned. Props to you for scoring a great deal. I love the way it looks, and the wheels are nice. Just be sure you lock that thing up hardcore. A lot of people like stealing thosing things.
