Really? Were you really that close to getting the STI and then said, Nope i think I'll get a Honda Fit instead. The two cars couldn't be more different. Nevermind the nearly fifteen grand difference in price.

i mean.. why not. at the time i just sold my supercharged/intercooled mustang, i was up to get anything, but i like Subaru because in small cities people don't know how nice they are but in large cities the Sti's and Evo's are very popular.

I basicaly got the Honda fit, because i liked how it looked.. not to mention i plan on throwing a crazy amount of miles on it.. And then a HUGE factor was no more vandalism with a honda fit, opposed to a mustang (sitting on radials, with an intercooler the size of texas is begging for people to key it.. which has happened several times)

I am one of those Fitfreak members that downgraded myself from a really high performance car to something economical.. so going from what i had before to a STI.... i could see it happen.

I'd love an STi but I just couldn't afford it. Some people can and kudos! But I can't...

I will always have a soft spot for Subaru, but I just don't think it's in the future for me. Not they start giving us teachers tremendous raises. Even then, I live in the boonies so we make even less...but hey, whatevs!

Didn't mean to come off like a dick, just seemed like an odd set of vehicles to be cross shopping. I can't make myself like the new STi They are just too ordinary looking to me. That could be because around my work every third car IS an STi but hey. I want Subaru to build a USDM Forester STi, now that would get me out of my Fit!

+1

I like the blistered rear fenders on the STi sedan, but I never really liked how the sedan butt looked - especially those fanged tail lights.

Over here the sedan is cheaper though.

Wingless... we'll see what happens. I like the M3 style rear bumper. Quad exhaust is pretty nice... but nothing new. The wing looks as if it was trying to look like the 00' impreza RS or maybe even the evo's wing...

Curious to see this car modded... it would really need a drop.

They played around and risk to go for hatch... But not many people really went for it. Thus why it's a great idea for subaru to go back to 4 door saloon. I really think this is a good direction... why? Because this what made them famous. I'm talking about EVOs too. Evo and STI both 4 door sedan.
