Please share some tips on car detailing? Here are some of mine

Try used fabric softer dryer sheets to remove love bugs from front of car,just wet them and rub away the bugs.

The best product I've found to remove water spots and make your black car/suv shine is Eagle One Wet..Wipe and Shine...this product is awesome to remove spots on paint and also your exterior windows.

I spray WD-40 on my wheels before I go to the car wash,then when you get to the car wash, all you have to do is pressure wash the brake dust off...works great.

I used a can of compressed air that you would use to clean your computer to remove gum from my seat,you just hold the can upside down and frosty air will come from it to freeze the gum till it was removed.

I use those little sponge brushes that you get in the craft department to deail small little spaces for car shows. The product you use sticks to the sponge surface and you can get them into every little nook. They also do a great job of using a little bit of water on them to detail in the engine bay and clean up places you can't reach with your hands.

hmm...my tip would be don't EVER take you car to a car wash. Do it at home yourself with the proper cleaners and cleaning products.

 

Tips I read about years ago in Motor Trend from top California detail shop.
1. Wash car using Ivory Liquid soap.
2. Clean windows with hot soapy water and towel off with hand towel. Don't use paper towels. Makes glass sparkle.

I clean engine with Ortho Garden Sprayer filled with dish washing liquid attached to hose. Fast easy low pressure wash that produces excellent results

 

Dam where to start Don't go to a car wash!!! And dont use the dryer sheets.
1. wash car off with a foam gun than use a lamb wool mit in a back and forth motion gently in the same direction to clean the area. Do one area at a time.
2. Rinse the mit in a bucket with clean water that has a grit gard.
3.Rinse off area with clean water from hose.
4. clay bar the bugs off or any other contaminits.
5. wash the area one more time.
6. Dry it with a micro fiber weave towel
7. Apply a paint protectant than a wax to it.
This is a simmple and quick wash set up i do. There is much more you can add to this. I should do a real write up with pics on my S2k on a good clean and wash detail. Till than hope this helps if you don't clean youre car right all youre doing is puting little scratches all over it that you can see in the light.
