My Moms Car, Update.
Finally bought lowering springs for my moms car. Its had the RSX-S wheels on it for a while. Lookin terrible with massive wheel gap. Bought them off a friend and painted them.
My mom said I COULD NOT lower the car. Her tC was lowered, so I didnt see why I couldnt?
She went to Vegas for her work this morning. Installed the springs.
Yes the pics are dark. It was a combo of the bright concrete, rain on the way, and the color of the car.
"Mom Approved."
So far, my dad hasnt noticed. It drives the same to me. Ill tell them I lowered it in about a week or so, unless they notice before hand.
What I still have planned is window visors, roof spoiler, possibly a front lip, and a WorldSport2 cat-back.

my mom refuses to drive my car bc of the drop. She used to drive it down to her dealership to get work done on it. Now i have to drive the hour down, bc she complains every time. She thinks its too bumpy. i dont get it.

That's too funny. I love the fact that you modify her car for her when she goes away.
I'm adding some things to my parents cars too right now. My dad's work in Cali ... Since Chuckie (my parents minivan) is going to be around for a long time (or so it seems) I'm sprucing him up. We'll see if he notices any changes on it!
Oh and her car looks great! You've done a good job on it.
Did you install the lowering springs yourself? Is this a hard job to do?

My parents always have some stuff done to their cars. My dads truck runs 9s in the 1/4. As far as the spring install, I do all my own work so no. It wasnt hard. 1hr for me.
Thanks for the compliments. Ive spent some money on it. Had all the dents removed, service, getting an alignment today. I take care of the car. Ill lower it if I feel!

You are terrible! You know they have very good medication and therapy for the kind of problems we, er, you have LOL I thought I was the only one who modded my parents cars when they were out of town! My mom, as clueless as she is about cars, noticed the CAI on her 2.7 V6 Santa Fe immediately! She didn't even give me a hard time, just said " I like the better gas mileage, thank you." My Dad on the other hand, about went apeshit after he drove his Armada out of warranty, he started asking me about the Stillen supercharger for the Titan! At least I know where I get it from right?

Perhaps she's one of the few women wise enough to not gab on the freaking phone.
