Wheeeepaaaaahh!

Jaidens update.

Got the wheels, got the coil overs.... Still need some stuff. Heres how she sits now.
Im very happy with the stance so far. Id still like her lower. :o

Need some negative camber up front, although it looks really nice as is.
Rough specs; 17x7 with 195/40/17 and a +30mm offset up front. 17x8.5in with 205/40/17 and a +27mm rear.
Vmaxx coils. All the way down front and rear. Modding will need to be done in the future. Hahh!

¡Me gusta! Pic 3 and 2 look great.

Blacking out the gas cap made a big difference on the driver side, it doesn't look as off balanced compared to the passenger side, and I've always like the new MINIs with black belt lines. Keep it up Ray.

What are you using to shine the fender arches? A friend of mine has an R56 S and her arches look horrible after she washes the car.

actually the belt line is chrome.. underneath.
he had that as well as the roof covered in black vinyl. (after a spoiler delete)
it was white with the pano roof- looks much cleaner all black.

also for the plastics- Turtle Wax Ice. you can use it on every surface, it really "blacks" up the plastics, unlike paste wax which leaves white residue.

Probably been asked and answered already but hey, Are those Porsche Cup wheels? Either way they are niiiiiiiiccccceeee. Good to see you are endangering small mammals with your ride height again Ray. Do you notice a difference in ride quality between the Fit and the MINI? I mean given that they have similar wheelbase and all.....

Stock for stock they rode about the same. Honestly, the Mini seemed softer.
These coils Im on are the cheapest ones made. Hah! Its only height adjustment. They are stiffer than stock, but it doesnt seem by much. The rears need to be stiffer, dips make the rear tires rub a lot.

Wheels are considered Twists. Same size and everything I had on my GTi
Theyre from a Boxster S.

I knew the belt line was chrome from the factory, they're like that on all new MINIs, and if I recall correctly OutMotoring makes pre-cut vinyals to black out or color match it. On the other hand, I didn't know that the roof is actually white, from the pictures it looked like a factory black roof at a glance.

And Turtle Wax Ice eh? Might have to try that stuff out.

Do the brakes interchange between the brands with Minis the way they do with VW? That was my fantasy mod on my Jetta wagon i had, Boxster S brakes.... Seems to be blowing a little oil by when you stomp on it, but it does sound good!
