Sold my fit for this.

About 6 months ago, I bought my first fit(09 5mt sport/nav), I loved the car, but really wanted a white one. In August I found a white one(09 5mt sport/nav) with 13k less miles, for a steal, so I sold my grey one, and flew to Ohio from AZ and bought it.

Last week, for no particular reason I threw my car up on CL, just to see what kind of offers I could pull. I figured if I could get a decent offer on it, I would let it go, and if not I would keep it, because I really did love the car.

Well in less then a week I had a girl who wanted it for a good price, so i began my hunt for a new car. After inquiring/haggling with a bunch of people, I found an 08 SI Sedan, with 21k miles. After talking with the guy, we agreed on a very fair price. Basically I sold my fit, for the exact same price as this car, and my fit had 6k more miles. It was basically a lateral move into the SI.

As much as I loved the fit, I think I will get more enjoyment out of this car.

I already ordered some swift springs, and the Honda Factory Performance lip :)

I am flying to Austin in the morning to pick her up, and drive it back. I can't wait :)

Awesome choice!! I bought a new 2010 FA5 a few months ago and don't regret it one bit. You will love when that motor hits 5800 rpm =)

Also check out the Flashpro from Hondata. Kinda pricey but it really unleashes the K series motor.

The gas mileage on the FIT was awesome indeed, but from what I see, people are getting over 30MPG on the SI's.

I really only need 1 practical car, and this will be it. I am about to get rid of my 08 WRX and most likely get a 08 S2000 CR.

It already has headers, catback, intake, IMG, Hondata reflash. I am going to do the flashpro because I get the $150 rebate for having the reflash already.

Thanks. I thought it was a good buy too. I only paid 13k for my 09 sport/nav, and sold it for 15k, so to move into this car, with nothing out of pocket is nice :)

wow congrats! :D

isn't the SI's insurance is quite a bit higher, no? i noticed this when i was checking around for a SI sedan myself earlier this year, not that i would've stopped me from getting one... i just could not find a new 10' any where local.

i decided to just keep my GD.

Si is $2 cheaper a month.lol.

I could have got an 09 with 9k miles for 17.5 but decided I like the 08 better and could save 2500.

hahaha, is that becuase it's a 08? when i had my agent give me pricing on the SI's rates it was considerably higher... i think it was like 80-90 higher or something for every 6months.

Why would you get lowering springs? Buddy Club makes amazing coilovers for that car... I had an 08 with them...

Damn, I have never heard of coil overs before...lol

Na, I didn't get them because, it is my wife's daily driver.. She doesn't want, nor need coil-overs. The swifts ride great, and serve their purpose perfectly.

Nice car BTW.

wicked fucking cars all the way around! the white fit is exactly what i wanted, i ended up with black. the 4door si is the only car i would trade or give up my fit for. awesome find man! so jealous! car looks decent with that drop too. my question is, is there different front bumpers for the 4doors? only thing i'd get(IMO) is fog lights. oh, and the CR, MY DREAM CAR!! lol. its like i'm looking into my future here........theres hope for me after all!

Cl9lover, wicked coupe! my g/f has an LX coupe in black. i'm trying to convince her to drop that biatch, but she won't budge.

i wish i lived somewhere, where people did cars right, and were cool about it. i need to move. lol

Yea, the sedan and coupe have different front bumpers.. I plan to do the OEM fogs, and OEM lip at some point in the near future..

I am excited about the CR :) Thursday can't come fast enough.

My 08 WRX is getting kicked out of the garage...lol
