Honda Brio
A-class? Looks like an Aygo/106/C1 down to the single pane of glass rear hatch and single hatch strut. The Fit is a bit larger than an A-class (on the large side of superminis) and the next smallest Honda is (I think) a Kei car.
Maybe we'll see Honda go for a championship at Top Gear Football. Aygo and Polo, you've been put on notice!

looks like a mini CRV... I dont think it looks good. BUT wouldnt it be nice to have something smaller on the road to make fun of and no longer be at the bottom with our fits :) lol
and a 1.2l damn bet that thing is QUICK!

Overall, I actually find it a more attractive design than the GE8.
- the front clip has more personality.
- the wheels look far classier - the ones on the current Fit Sport look like hubcaps, with their gray paint and generic design - these remind me of the Accord's wheels.
- the door handles look modern, rather than the 90's aero lift-flaps we get. The chrome is a tasteful touch.
The rear liftgate is a weak point, but it's a functional issue. Look at the back of the Aygo - it's very similar. I don't like the low taillights. On a small car, taillights should be mounted high for maximum visibility.
- the antenna is not one of these ugly rubber middle of the roof things... They always remind me of radio-controlled cars!
And the interior... Did Honda suddenly remember how to design an armrest? And do a color other than black in a subcompact/city car? And make round console cupholders? And attach the rearview to the ceiling rather than gluing it to the glass?
I wonder if this signals the direction for the styling of the next gen Fit (2013/2014?)

That's what I was thinking and I for one think the car is pretty "funky" and in a good way. Nothing wrong with the smaller motors, but the turbo is your friend Honda, embrace it!
