Last night we got a lot of rain here in a short amount of time.

When it let up a little I was check out how deep my street flooded, when it seemed like I was watching a movie, Risky Business.

As in, "Who's the U-boat commander"



Then, about a half hour later, I realized it wasn't Risky Business,

It was Dumb and Dumber



Idiot in the SUV pulling the trailer actually drove past the other car, thinking he'd make it through.

Go figure

 

Wow! Hope your Fit was on higher ground.

 

Glad I live at the top of a hill.

 

I'm still trying to wrap my head around what the hell the truck driver towing the trailer must've been smoking....

Absolutely, the water stopped in front of my neighbors, and the fit was up in the driveway, which is about 4 feet higher than street level.

That was kinda funny, I watched him slowly try to drive through it, inspite of some kids down where he entered trying to stop him. He told the cop who showed up later that he couldn't stop in time, and slid into the water, which was a bunch of BS.

He had a buddy come get his trailer after he got pulled out, and one of my neighbors told me he actually got his SUV started the next day after cranking on it for almost two hours, clouds of smoke everywhere when it finally fired up, but he drove off in it.
